Well a set back had to come at some point and today I received news that Atomic didn't sail as planned last Friday due to not clearing US customs in time because of the
US holidays.
The next departure date is not until the 7th which means the earliest arrival is now December 23rd. While this is still in time for
Christmas with the festive holidays for Christmas and the New Year, I am
now being told that I am unlikely to see the car before about the 4th
January!
Very frustrating that a critical week was lost, which by the domino
effect, adds another 3 weeks, so it will be approaching 7 weeks since I
left Atomic for shipping until we are reunited....and then there is still
the SVA UK compliance work to be carried out!
Naturally, I now won't be able to drive the car to Scotland for the
holidays season as planned. Ho Ho No!
