Today I drove Atomic to Norfolk on the East
side of England and to a very small village just outside of Norwich. Here
she will under go the final phase of her immigration into the UK, when the
lights are converted to confirm with the British Government regulations.
Amongst the changes will be the rear
lights, with the outer being a new light split between red and amber and
with the inner light be split to accommodate a fog light. The front side
light will become an indicator while adjustments will also be done to the
gas discharge front lights.
The Government test will take place on
Tuesday 21st and assuming no issues or questions are raised, Atomic will
re-appear taxed (license tag) and with a UK log book (Certificate Of
Title) and running the plate C6 AUK.
The next appearance will be at our
regional Corvette meeting on Sunday 27th, while plans are already in
motion for her first trip over to Continental Europe during February.
